Description
I had the pleasure of working with several other very talented volunteers on a project named Nix Ebola. We set out to build a prototype training simulator for quarantine protocols over a single weekend.
In addition to initial collaborative design input, I was responsible for developing and implementing the visuals to emulate being inside PPE gear (personal protective equipment). This involved simulating visual obscurances like condensation buildup, dripping effects which temporarily cleared the condensation and the PPE hood gradually falling into field of view.
I also aided with other Tech Art tasks including the creation of an audio muffling effect and resolving issues with animation import pipelines.
